Overview

This driver module is based on the L293 dual motor driver chip which is designed to provide bidirectional drive currents of up to 1 A at voltages from 4.5 V to 36 V. This module also features an optocoupler, in order to protect the MCU from electromagnetic interference. It also features separate power rails for motor drive and logic, being able to work with 3.3 V or 5 V microcontrollers. This module is useful for driving inductive loads like DC motors, stepper motors, solenoids and other high current or high voltage loads.
