This USB-B female socket can be used to replace the old socket on your printers and copiers. It is also great for your electronic project if it requires a USB connectivity and since the pinout of this socket has 0.1” spacing, it fits perfectly on perfboards and development boards but you will need a mild modification for the support posts. You can a) drill 2 holes for the support posts, b) fold them out of the way, or c) cut them off completely.
