Do you constantly check if your plants need water already? Or do you always forget to water them? Well, this DIY project is for you.
It’s a simple circuit that will be triggered the moment the soil of your plant gets dry. The base resistor has a very high value and the transistor current is only two (2) milliamperes, therefore, the circuit does not have a current-limiting resistor. You can also replace the value of the resistor if you want to adjust the alarm sensitivity, to avoid annoyance.
